2004 Appaloosa mare. Lola is our most versatile horse! She not only jumps, rides English and western, she also drives! She is the "Queen Bee" of our heard.

A 1999 AQHA mare. She is built very stocky. She loves to do both English and Western, as well as jump! Betty also loves to eat everything! She is currently our oldest horse

Goldie is a POA or Pony of America. She has the personality of a horse but the size of a Pony. Her canter is SO SMOOTH. A fantastic choice for beginners! She also loves any treats you want to bring her!

Penny is an energetic horse at Lucky Stables. She LOVES to go FAST. Penny is a Welsh Pony, which means she is full grown but is rather short. Her favorite thing to do is lay down and roll after a good work out.

Derek or "McDreamy" is our Gypsy Vanner Pony. He can be pretty lazy, but once you get him moving he is not only fun, but absolutely gorgeous!

JD is one of our lesson favorites! He can do it all! Jumping? Yep! Western? You betcha! English? Of course! He is great for all ages and abilitys!

This is Mama Mae! When she's not doing lessons she serves as our broodmare. In 2023 she had her first filly, Rita (pictured above), and, she's due again in spring 2024! Mae loves treats, scratches, and sun bathing!

Lacy has the athleticism to do the all around events, and that includes jumping! But, she is also the horse you will probably find in the barn snacking on some grain or taking a mid day nap. She loves to go to shows and does the best in pattern classes.

Rio loves to jump and loves to roll after a nice ride! She also likes some scratches after a job well done. Here favorite activity is getting groomed by anyone and everyone!

Dixie is a 2015 AQHA mare. She came from a very fancy western pleasure background and now serves as a lesson horse. She does amazing in the showring and out and is quite popular with our special needs riders! She is a sweetheart who also LOVES butterscotches and peppermints!

Zippy is a POA just like Goldie! He has a super sweet personality and loves to be pet on. Fun Fact: Zippy is blind in his left eye, but that doesn't stop him from being an awesome lesson horse!

Sister is another one of our very versatile lesson horses. She loves to go fast, but can also dial it back for western. She also enjoys to jump! Fun fact: she is related to PJ, a horse who is boarded here at Lucky!

Shooter loves to go fast! He came from a barn that did speed events! He is super sweet and is best friends with Zippy!

Grizzly is an AQHA and is 16'3 hands of tall, dark, and handsome! He is one of our advanced lesson horses and is a beautiful mover. Fun Fact: he came from an APHA family who traded him for our old filly Rita!

Our two female mini donkeys (named by Katie's sons) are one of the favorite attractions of our farm. They just love being scratched and loved on.

Dexter is our lovable barn cat! If you ever bring coffee to the barn, be careful. He loves to steal it!

Our sweet mini dachshund. Charlotte loves greeting all guests. You will not see her in the cold winter months, however, as she spends winters in front of the Bruck's fire place.

Carl is our most energetic dog! He loves to play fetch with anyone that will throw the ball for him, and is constantly begging for attention!

Sweet, tiny "Phebs" is a brindle mini dachshund. She is fast and loves to scavenge, she is also a great mouser! Phoebe is super loyal to her family and wary of strangers.

Rip is one of our 3 Dachshunds! He is named after Rip from Yellowstone for his looks! Wherever Rip is, Katie is likely not far behind. He loves to play with his older brother Carl.
